What Exalting does now

In the current Together system, Exalting is an endgame gear-finalization step that pushes an enchantment beyond its ordinary limit. The selected enchantment is random within the eligible item, so Exalting is not a precise “choose the best line” button.

Build 22928553 contains the Glorious Exaltation Seneschal project, described as granting the ability to Exalt equipment and greatly enhance its power and enchantments. Current live-build references also document a Sublime Ember route for eligible gear.

Unlock the operation

Progress the Cerim Crucible and Seneschal projects until Glorious Exaltation is available, then use the relevant Exalting interface or an eligible Sublime Ember path shown by the live menu. If an item does not appear, check eligibility, upgrade state, rarity, sockets, and completed enchantment slots before assuming a bug.

Exact costs belong to the current preview. They can vary by item and progression and should not be copied from a pre-Together screenshot.

Pre-Exalt checklist

Do not commit until all are true:

  • The base weapon moveset or armor role has been tested in current content.
  • The attribute requirement and total Equip Load fit the final build.
  • The facet's downside is accepted.
  • The intended enchantment slots are filled and worth keeping.
  • The gem plan is complete and current interactions have been checked.
  • Rune slots and bindings are usable.
  • A backup item exists if the random result is poor.

If the item still needs an enchantment swap, stop. Current workflows restrict enchantment replacement after Exalting even though some later value improvements, gem operations, or rune-slot swaps may remain possible.

Understand the random result

Exalting can land on a line that is useful but not the build's priority. Judge the expected value across all eligible enchantments. If only one line is acceptable, improve the base before gambling. If every line supports the same job, the random selection becomes much safer.

This is why a coherent item beats a screenshot item: several good outcomes are more valuable than one perfect line surrounded by filler.

Sublime, Radiant, and Void boundaries

Current community testing distinguishes Sublime Exalting from Radiant value improvement. A Void operation can unwind an item toward Common, but that is destructive rebuilding, not a free “undo.” Read the live preview and keep a backup base.

Never use an Ember name as the only instruction. Confirm target eligibility and the exact before-and-after state in Build 22928553.

When Exalting is worth it

Exalt when the item is already the build's long-term base, every normal enchantment outcome is useful, and the remaining material cost will not prevent more important character or Realm progression. Campaign completion does not require a perfect Exalt; endgame optimization is a project, not an entry fee.
