Privacy Policy
How this independent guide site handles analytics and search-performance data.
Last updated: July 13, 2026
Google Analytics is optional
This site loads Google Analytics 4 only after you accept analytics in the on-page privacy prompt. If you decline, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded and the site continues to work normally.
After consent, Google Analytics may process pages visited, referral information, approximate location, browser and device details, and interactions such as scrolling or outbound-link clicks. We use this information to understand which guides are useful and where the site needs improvement. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or ad personalization.
Your choice and cookies
If you accept, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies whose names begin with _ga. You can withdraw consent at any time by selecting the fixed Privacy choices button and then choosing Decline. The site will disable analytics and attempt to remove those analytics cookies from this domain.
Google Search Console
We also use Google Search Console to review aggregate search queries, impressions, clicks, indexing status, and page performance. Search Console does not add a tracking script or cookie to this website.
Data handling
Analytics data is handled through Google's services and is used only for site measurement, content planning, and technical improvement. Do not send personal information through site URLs or query parameters.
