Current armor database

The installed public Build contains 443 localized armor records: 122 body pieces, 99 head pieces, 101 hand pieces, and 121 leg pieces. The searchable database above shows the current English name, slot, identifying in-game icon, and flavor description when the record provides one.

These are individual pieces, not 443 complete sets. Similar names can belong to a visual set, but a matching name does not grant an unstated set bonus. Read every live item panel.

Choose a complete loadout

Armor decisions are made across all four slots plus weapon weight. Equip the primary weapon, off-hand, bow or quiver, and any secondary set before comparing movement classes. A single lighter piece can preserve the desired class while allowing a stronger piece elsewhere.

Use this sequence:

  1. Set the movement behavior with Equip Load.
  2. Add enough protection and poise for the attacks the build intentionally risks taking.
  3. Compare facet tradeoffs, not only armor value.
  4. Check enchantments and gem preview in the context of the whole set.
  5. Re-test stamina recovery, dodge, and attack recovery after the change.

Facets can reverse the obvious choice

Current armor facets include explicit tradeoffs. Dense can increase armor while increasing weight. Bulky can increase armor while reducing poise defense. Stable can raise poise defense while reducing stamina regeneration. Agile can raise stamina regeneration while reducing Focus gain.

That means “higher armor” may still make the build worse if it breaks the movement class or resource loop. Read Facets before treating the positive line as free power.

Defense after Patch 1

Together Patch 1 updated damage-reduction scaling to prevent extreme stacking while preserving strong defensive builds. Hotfix 8 reworked Thorns so ranged and spell attacks no longer trigger it and added diminishing returns to stacking. Old passive-damage and near-invulnerability setups therefore need current testing.

Build defense in layers: avoid the attacks you can read, block the attacks the shield and stamina plan can absorb, use armor for the contact that remains, and keep Health for the mistakes that still happen.

Database boundary

The extracted record proves that an armor entry exists in Build 22928553. It does not prove a specific enemy drops it, that every tier is currently obtainable, or that the visible flavor text describes a gameplay effect. Acquisition claims will only be added with current live-play evidence.
